Apple Macbook Sucks

Apple Macbook Sucks

check out alli and I's brand new app for the iPhone and iPod touch! it's called, That's What She Said: Worldwide! let's get it to the top app list on iTunes, that would be amazing! get it today, get your friends to download it too!
Are you pissed with the new Apple Macbook's lack of firewire?! I certainly am disappointed, leave me a comment and let me know how you feel!

microsoft reshaped an entire OS, apple just keeps adding little trinkets of fun so you might wanna cut some slack to the company whos making bank off software alone. iphone is getting put to shame by nexus one and now win7 is owning. my zune hd is the shitt... but then again i focus on music and quality not apps galore. my 2 cents.

Answer = Firewire800 is on the laptop, if you have a firewire400 device get a cheap thirdparty adapter, works fine. Answer = Firewire400 is faster then USB2.0 in real life transfers, it really is a fact.

Answer = PC and MAC is the same thing, its the operating system you choose in combination with the hardware you provide.

Opinion = Microsoft and Apple succeed and fail at different things, its just that Microsoft fails more (Zune,Vista, etc.)
Future = USB3.0 will see how that goes.

If by "better," you mean that they still perform at 40% of what a PC performs at....but still cost more, then yes, they're "better."

And I'm sorry, but Macs were abysmally awful in the 80s.....the asscrack of the computer world, and they're just as laughable nowadays.

Thinking otherwise does not make it so. Enjoy your meager-ass RAM, piss-poor video cards and sloppy, embarrassing performance. Hell, even CNET remarked at that the 8-Core Mac Pro FAILED in every single benchmark except Cinebench.

Apple MacBook Review

Apple MacBook Review

Gone are the days of the white and black cases for the Apple MacBook notebooks. The latest 2008 model now comes with a unibody aluminum case and a multi-touch trackpad.

The trackpad doesn't add much functionality? What kind of review is that? I have to agree with Notacet, and say that this review is crap. Get some things straight before saying them. The new trackpad has expose gestures, it's made of glass, and lots more.

Still no blue ray support. No more non glare screen. Some of like to open windows and use natural light. I guess i will just buy a hp or dell for 800 with blue ray drive.

The Macbook doesn't support blue ray. Often DVD players that don't support blue ray can still play the dvd's but don't play them at the high quality blue ray is meant to have. I'm not sure which is the case for the Macbook Pro.

There are some options to purchase blue ray hardware and connect it to the Macbook though. Jobs called BluRay something like "a bag of trouble" (not getting the quote quite right) and it is believed that Apple is hoping to push its customers to using Itunes for HD movies instead of BluRay.

ouchpad doesn't add much functionality?
I realize that there are those who aren't crazy about it, but I have to disagree with you on that comment. You can click and right click this and you have a host of finger/hand touches with motions that perform certain commands on-screen.

So pretty much, it has the most functionality of any notebook computer where the trackpad is concerned. I'm still waiting for a tablet Mac but knowing Apple for Small Laptop, they won't release one unless it's almost perfect.

Very good review, I'm surprised though that she said it is worth the extra $200 if you are interested in the aluminum shell and trackpad, when she said herself that it doesn't add any functionality to the device. I think I'm going to get the $999 white macbook. Excellent review, though.
